That was a total feast, both on the field and on the table! With help from America's Test Kitchen, Sally's Baking Addiction and many others.

Chile Verde con cerdo to which I added some navy beans.

Corn dogs, fun to make and kids loved them

Falafel, so delicious and moist and everything you want. I didn't have cilantro so I chopped in some dandelion leaves. Balls in the freezer before frying.

Fried chicken, marinated in buttermilk with salt, garlic power, paprika and a heavy hand of green szechuan pepper

Guacamole, seasoned with lime, oregano, salt, cumin, coriander seeds and one ancho pepper

Monkey bread, inspired by ATK but I used Sally's pizza dough. Left in the fridge overnight to rise. Gives beautiful bread, but not enough stuffing for our taste.

Mozzarella sticks. Cheese kind of seeped in the frying oil, probably didn't coat them well enough. Tasty.
